Course description:
The course will study labor law, employment law and social security law of China and the United States, with a comparative law perspective. The course will cover fundamental theories, employment promotion law, labor contract law, labor standard law, vocational safety and health law, trade union and collective bargaining law, workers' insurance and benefits law, labor dispute settlement law, etc. After the study of this course, students may well understand the basic system of Chinese and the U.S. labor and employment law. Their English skills will be improved. And they will qualify for those jobs in labor law research, human resource management of foreign invested companies, or international commercial lawyer practice in the future.
