An Tongliang

An Tongliang  is Professor of Economics and a Chang-Jiang Scholar.  

He studied for a Bachelor's Degree in Department of Economics at Nanjing University from July 1985 to Jun 1989, and got his PhD in Business Administration in Jun 2003 at the School of Business.  

From Sep. 1989 to Dec. 1994, he held the post of Secretary of Sub-Youth League Committee, and was promoted as Director of Department of Economics at School of Business in Jan. 1998. From Apr. 2014, he took up the post of Dean of the School of Economics.  

His research areas include Industrial Economics, Innovation Economics, Behavioral Economics, Corporate Strategy Economics and Securities Investment.  

Prof. An obtained the Special Prize of the Excellent Teaching Achievement Award of Higher Education of Jiangsu Province and the Second Prize of the National Excellent Teaching Achievement Award in 2005. He has won the First Prize of Philosophy and Social Science award of Jiangsu Province for three times and has been enjoying the Special Subsidy from the State Council since 2014.  

Prof. An has published over 50 articles in economics journal like Pacific Economic Review, Journal of Contemporary Asia, Industry and Innovation. From 2002, he has successively published 8 academic papers in the Chinese top-level economics journal Economic Studies.
