Pei Ping

Pei Ping studied in the Department of Economics at Nanjing University China between 1978 and 1981.

Pei Ping studied for MBA in the Faculty of Applied Economics at Catholic University Leven Belgium between 1984 and 1987. He then returned to Nanjing University for completing his Ph.D. on enterprise management between 2002 and 2006.

After 1987, Pei Ping has been teaching in Business School at Nanjing University. In March 1991, he was promoted to Associate Professor, and in March 1995 he became Professor. He teaches predominantly in the areas of the International Finance, Financial Policies and Practice, Banking and Money, Financial Research and Internet Finance, etc. He has published many academic works and papers in his research fields, and achieved more than 20 rewords for his academic achievements, above province and university level.

Pei Ping was chairman of the Department of Finance and Insurance between 1993 and 2002, and then associate dean of Business School between 2002 and 2015, Nanjing University.

Pei Ping is a member of High Education Guidance Committee, Ministry of Education, standing director of China’s International Finance Association, and China’s Insurance Association. He is Vice Chairman of International Finance Association of Jiangsu Province, Insurance Association Jiangsu Province, and Internet Finance Association of Jiangsu Province.

Pei Ping is a member of the editorial boards of International Finance, Financial Studies, and Investment Research.
