Chen Qianping

Chen Qianping, Male, was born on Feb.10, 1955 in Nanjing. He graduated from History Department of Nanjing University in 1982 and got his Ph. Doctor Degree in Nanjing University in 2001. He is special term professor of Nanjing University. He is the chairman of academic board of the Research Center for the History of Republic of China of Nanjing University.

His research field covers political and diplomatic history of Republican area. He specializes in Sino-Western relations during the Republican period. He has published numerous books and articles in China and abroad. He is the author of “The Sino-British Negotiations on Tibet around Anti-Japanese war (Kangzhan Qianhouzhi Zhongying Xizang Jiaoshe)” (2003),“History Essay on the Foreign Relations During the Republican Period (Minguo Duiwai Guanxi Shilun)” (2013), “The Frontal Battlefield of China (Zhongguo Zhengmian Zhangchang)” (2015),  “History of a century of Tibet(Xizang Bainianshi Yanjiu” (2015). He is also the chief author of “The History of Anti-Japanese War of China, 1931-1945 (Zhongguo Kangri Zhangzheng Shi )” (2016).
